A Great Place to Buy New Books Inexpensively
Now and then I find wonderful places to purchase things at extremely reasonable prices. Who can resist a real bargain when its something they really want ? One of the excellent places to buy books both online and by mail is a company called Dover Publications, Inc. The latest catalog I've received, which was maybe a month ago, lists 500 or more titles. These are paperback books, many of them classics in their genre, that Dover obviously doesn't have to pay royalties on. Leo Tolstoy, Mark Twain and Jane Austin, for instance, have been gone so many years that whatever copyrights there may have been have long ago expired. If you're hunting for children's books, you'll find them here aplenty. Alice in Wonderland, The Fables of AESOP, King Arthur's Tales From the Roundtable -- and a great deal more for $2.25 per volume. There's a large selection of coloring books -- Sea Life Stained Glass, Wizards and Dragons, Carousel Horses, Arabic Patterns, Art Deco and many, many more, all for $4.46. There are books on Quantum Mechanics, Modern Optics, Discovering mathematics. Also available are interesting books on architecture, art and photography, to mention just a few of the subjects they cover. I have found Dover to be accurate and reliable to deal with.
